DIWALI CALLS US (this is my very first poem, whn i ws in 5th std i wrote this)
Dhoom, bhoom, dab, dab
comes a day of dazzling night
Dhoom,bhoom,dab,dab.

sounds of crackers dab, dab,
deafens our ears- nab,nab,nab
varieties of rockets
soaring in the skies.

arocket goes up,
a chakra zooms around
a sparkle sparkles
& cracker makes the sound,
dhoom,bhoom,dab,dab.

delicious sweets & dresses are brought,
delights everyone's heart
young or old to start
a new year till we part
dhoom,bhoom,dab,dab.
