THE DEAFENING NOISE OF SILENCE

I won 3rd prize for this poem when I was in my 9th std, the funniest part is I never knew the meaning of the title and it was given on the spot!

I feel people deafening at my silence,

cause they feel I'm not normal.

i hear them tease me,

ha!ha! look how's she.

don't they ever value others?

if they cant they shouldn't bother.

cause they must know we too have heart,

where talents are hidden in carts.

i think i should be called and asked to get trolled.

as i don't want to express me by words,

but would like to prove them by deeds.

cause deeds can work wonders,

and even create great blunders.

i am a girl of act,

who thinks of only fact.

talking always cannot help,

silent successors are always valued,

for example you can take me tallied.
